the move from the largest refugee camp in the country.

In Sudan, paramilitary rebels had launched an attack on the biggest internal displacement camp in

the country, a place called Zam Zam.

Sudanese paramilitary forces say they've taken control of the famine-hitugee camp in the Darfur region after two days of

heavy shelling and gunfire. The day of the attack, Al-Tahir Hashim's phone was lighting up with

messages of distress. Al-Tahir lives in Bristol now, but he knows Zam-Zum really well. He spent years of his childhood there.

Early when we arrive in the camps, they were not toilet, there were not adequate water supply

places, there was not market. It did change a lot since I left. They built the calm as

kind of like a small city.

They made a home away from home.
