To be clear, the woman's main complaint is not that an evil god is causing people to eat their

own babies because they wouldn't listen to him.

It is that the first woman entered into a bargain with the second woman in which they

would eat the first woman's baby yesterday and the second woman baby today. True to her word, the first woman cooked her baby yesterday and they both ate it.

But when it came time today for the second woman to cook her baby, she failed to do so.
