Here's a bizarre quote from Prophet Muhammad.

Satan came in front of me and tried to interrupt my prayer,

but Allah gave me an upper hand on him, and I choked him.

Know that I thought of tying him to one of the pillars of the mosque

till you could get up in the morning and see him.

But then Allah made him, Satan, return with his head down, humiliated, back to hell.

What Muhammad is telling his friends here is that I totally beat up the devil,

but you weren't there to see it. I was going to tie him up,

so you could see that I beat him.

But then Allah sent him back to hell.

What I read you was from Sahih Bukhari, which in Islam is considered to be one of the most

reliable sources of Hadith. I think the story is made up, but if this is made up,

that means that 90% of what we recognize as Islam today cannot be trusted.
