So the Quran is basically saying that stars are little lamps meant to make the sky look pretty

and that meteors are stars that God shoots at the devils to keep them away from angels so

that the devils can't hear the secrets of the angel.

Well to me it seems that Allah doesn't have a basic understanding of his own creation.
