Summary

Let’s talk… about talking. Sounds a little ridiculous, but you spend a huge chunk of each day trying to communicate with the people around you. What if you could do it better? What if you could actually enjoy conversations, instead of running from them as quickly as possible? My friend Craig (known to me as Windex) has some things to teach us all about the aggressive art of conversation.

0:40.9	tell me that before. Such a good conversation. Does that mean that I look ugly? Does that,
0:48.8	does that mean I'm frumpy? Is that like the new way to say, boy, she's got a great personality?
0:53.3	Oh, boy, you're a really good conversationalist.
0:55.9	So I've been thinking a lot recently about conversation.
0:59.7	And I actually think it is a lost art that we don't have in our culture anymore.
1:05.5	I've talked before about loneliness being the number one epidemic that's in our culture.
1:10.7	It existed long before COVID,
1:12.5	and it's going to keep going and it's actually growing in the midst of COVID. Loneliness,
1:17.7	feeling isolated. Is it because of our loneliness that we don't know how to have great
1:23.8	conversations? Or is it our lack of great conversations causing our loneliness?
1:30.5	I'm not sure. It's one of those two things. The aggressive life is about noticing something
1:36.9	and changing it in your life, noticing something and doing something about it, not philosophizing
1:42.5	about it, not praying about it.
