Hello and welcome to the Arsenal Women's Ask cast on Asplog.com. With me, your host Tim

0:17.2

Stillman, it's fair to say there's been quite a bit going on in the world of Arsenal women

0:22.2

in the last few days. First of all, last Monday, we had the confirmation, the announcement

0:27.2

that Jonas Eidavall would be the new head coach of Arsenal women, Jonas's still managing

0:33.4

Rosengordon till the 12th of July, but he will come in and take over from Joe Montemorro.

0:39.2

And that is really what this episode will focus on. But also on Friday, we had the confirmation

0:45.1

of Nikita Paris's transfer from Leon to Arsenal. And we've got a couple of articles up on

0:51.0

Asplog news at the moment. One, an analysis I wrote of Nikita and her game and her data

Friday afternoon. And I printed that article on Asplog news so you can go and read it there.

1:23.8

in next few weeks. The girls getting back together for pre-season soon. And obviously also

1:29.4

on Friday, we had the Champions League draw. And so Arsenal will face and I really should

1:34.7

have looked this up before I started recording the name of the Kazakhstan opposition that they

1:40.3

will be playing on August the 18th. And if they win that game, they will play the winner

1:45.9

of PSBI and Hover versus CSK and versus locomotive Moscow, sorry. And then if they win both of

1:53.2

those games, they go through to the playoffs, which will be played on 31st August, slush,

1:58.3

1st of September will be the first leg, 7th, 8th of September, 2nd leg and that will be a

2:02.8

home in a way format. So lots of work for Arsenal to do before they get into the Champions League

2:08.4

group stages. But again, we're not really going to focus on that in this episode. That's
