Welcome back into another edition of the Arrowhead Pride Report. It is Thursday, October 26th, and it has been raining for like 36 straight hours here in Kansas City.

We might also have a snow game this weekend in Denver. So let me welcome in the leader of Arrowhead Pride, Pete Sweeney.

Sweeney, you asked Patrick Mahomes yesterday. He's a snow game guy. He's ready in case it gets chilly and the snow falls in Denver on Sunday.

Yeah, it ended up being a pretty funny exchange. I think like, and this is pulling the curtain back of me, the little inside footballer inside the industry.

I think if you had responded like that when I was just starting out, I would have been embarrassed and shut up, but 10 years of growth of hair on my chest made me quickly ask about the grip.

And it turns out there is like a little bit of a reason for maybe him feeling that way. He noted that the ball, you know, it gets a little stickier in the snow than, for example, the rain.

And you give and you've given Patrick Mahomes any kind of sticky adhesive advantage and you're going to get what you get from a guy grew up in Texas playing really well in the snow.

So the forecast has ever changed right now. It looks like it might be over with by the time the game starts, but as we've seen in Kansas City, whether it can change really quickly.

And so I'm kind of hoping that we get we get some snow for chiefs and Broncos.

Yeah, I always love a good snow game. So I kind of hope it does. And I think I don't think snow would impact what the chiefs are going to do to this Broncos team on on Sunday afternoon.

So I am on board with the Patrick Mahomes snow game at all times. But yesterday's practice, we did get some updates on some important injuries for the Kansas City chiefs and you reconfirmed that Nick Bolton did have surgery on his wrist on Tuesday.

He's expected to be back in Kansas City. And I would imagine if they're going to place Nick Bolton on IR this week, that probably doesn't happen until Saturday, you see them usually make a flurry of moves as they elevate practice squad additions and kind of make tweaks to the roster ahead of game day.

So I would imagine if Bolton's headed to IR, that's probably when we'll see it sometime later in the week like Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon or something like that.

So why do you see for Justin Watson actually returned to practice on Wednesday, which seems a little fast. It seemed like Watson was expected to miss a few weeks and he's already practicing again. So maybe he's going to be available sooner than we all initially thought.

Yeah, it's a really pleasant surprise. And it's kind of fascinating when you look at this game and in the study, what the Kansas City chiefs are doing and we've been watching the snap counts of the receivers.

I'm really intrigued to seeing what Justin Watson's potential presence in this game will mean for the snap counts.

I believe after breaking out in the sense, Mark was about the sampling will continue to use the get the snaps that he will we know the chiefs and they've been admitted knitting this now recently, they're trying to get or she writes more involved.

They have trust in Justin Watson. So is this finally the game where you may be see sky more and cadarious Tony's usage drop off prior to some of this legal stuff off the field.

Justin Ross actually out snapped cadarious Tony. So I'm just wondering, I know we had talked about, I think as we go along, the chiefs are going to identify their top three receivers who those guys are.

Justin Watson, Mark was valid scantling in her sheet rice and his sky more usage, which has been in the range of like 35 40 snaps of game, depending on how many there are is that about to take a big fall.

Yeah, I tend to think that when Watson is healthy and back just based on how we saw him used prior to the injury.

I know sky was generally playing more snaps than Justin Watson, but Justin Watson was making a much bigger impact than sky more has made this season.
