This study started in the Book of Jude, 25 verses, little letter written by Jude.

It's one of the most powerful short pieces ever written. June 17, 18, 19, 20, Jude says some words here,

which I'm going to repeat, and we're going to move back into the area that we were studying last week.

But I just want to recall the central idea that we have here.

Jude 17 says, but beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before,

that is, in the past, of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, how that they told

you that there should be mockers in the last time who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, not having the spirit.

And that's the way he summarized his discourse on the

false teachers. They would mock the true gospel. And by the way, that has happened. It happens

every day now. We are living in the last time. We are in the terminal generation, I believe.

These people are walking after their own ungodly lusts,

that is to say they are driven by passion rather than by the Spirit of God.

And Jude's talking prophetically here about those things which will exist just prior to the day of the Lord,

those conditions that will exist just prior to the day of the Lord.

And I've pointed out several times that in the Bible, Jude is juxtaposed with Revelation.

It immediately precedes the book of Revelation, which is the narrative of the tribulation.

And so what Jude is doing is laying out the conditions that will exist just prior to
