Our guest today is Matt Freeman, a local pastor here in Oklahoma City.

And Matt, it's great to talk to you. You've got so much to say, and we're not

going to fight for who says how much, but we've both got a lot to say today, right?

That's right. Yeah, thanks for having me, Gary. I appreciate it. Happy to be here.

You've been teaching in your church, and by the way, you might mention the church itself,

but you've been teaching on the book of Zechariah.

And lately, I've been delving into the minor prophets. Minor prophets sort of get left behind,

you know, in years gone by, who notices a minor prophet? But today, they are coming to the forefront there they are

screaming off the pages actually Gary more than more than any other time in history that I

I'm aware of in my short lifetime but yeah I I lead new city church here actually Jesus

leads new city church here I'm just happen to be the pastor that teaches there. And he founded New City Church in 2020 in the middle of COVID. And our first time meeting was in November of 2020. And Jesus wrote our mission statement for the church that it would be to foster,

strengthen, and grow an unashamed bride looking for Jesus's return. So no longer a bride that is

lukewarm, watered down, anemic, starving for the Word of God, but a bride that is strengthened,

a bride that is energized and fed by the meat of the Word of God.

And that's really what we do at New City.

We just go through the Bible verse by verse.

And it's been an amazing, it'll be four years this November. And one of the things I always tell everyone as we're studying the Bible is you have to keep in mind, 1 John 227 and 28.

And but the anointing which you have received of him abideth in you and you need not that any man teach you, but is the same anointing teacheth you of all things in his truth and is no lie.

And even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
