The longest Psalm in the Bible is Psalm 119. It has been called the Psalm of the Scriptures because it concentrates on one thing, the amazing sufficiency of God's word for our lives.

It's a question.

There's a big question mark in Psalm 119 and verse number nine.

And I love this.

When God ask a question, he's not searching for an answer. He has the answer.

He is the answer. When God asks a question, he's using the question to probe and to lead us to a

wonderful truth. It is a truth that indeed will help every young man, and it is a truth we all need. This is not just something for young man and it is a truth we all need this is not just something

for young people this is something for all people but it is something you should learn as early in life

as possible you see the greatest thing that a young man discovers is the eternal word of god

because it's the secret to getting clean and staying right.

The word of God is the answer. That's why the second part of verse 9 says,

by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Some Bible teachers believe that Psalm 119 was written by the author at varying stages

of his life. In other words, the early sections written early in life, the latter sections

written near the end of his life, and that it shows all the experiences at different stages and

seasons of life.

I don't know that for certain, but if so, it's a wonderful picture

because he references youth here in the second section of Psalm 119 early on,

and he discovers early on that it's the word that every young person needs to have.
