Hey everyone, Gordon from Leaving Laurel here.

I suppose since the beginning of Leaving Laurel, there's been a silent third member.

Driff, our manager, my close friend and Pierce's older brother.

He's been there long before the first time Pierce and I even made music together.

He's helped us every step along the way, daydreaming with us, listening to every demo,

helping us make sense of all this exciting music we're starting to make.

The three of us could talk about music for hours, sitting around with a couple of beers,

listening to records until late into the night.

Many nights we would all DJ together at home.

My only audience was our friends or just each other.

I remember this one very special time in particular.

It was a beautiful late summer day almost a year ago now, the day after Driff's wedding.

The three of us DJed together for 12 hours late into the night on this tiny pier and main,

overlooking the water.

It was an incredible moment.

Sadly, this was one of the last times we all got to play music together.

This fall, Leaving Laurel will be playing our first show since the beginning of the project,

but it didn't feel right for me to do it alone.

I kept thinking of those nights when the three of us would play together,

and I knew if Pierce couldn't be there, then who better to be by my side than his older brother?

So for this episode of the Ingenie Deep Edition,

Driff returned to that pure and main, and played music for hours and hours
