Today we're going to be talking about the greatest speech in American history, the Gettysburg

Address.

And we are joined for the conversation today by a great expert on Abraham Lincoln, on the Gettysburg

address itself, and its meaning, its importance, and its enduring significance for our

country.

For that conversation, we're joined by Professor Jason Stevens.

Jason, as many of our listeners know, is a professor of political science at Ashland University.

He has been involved with Ashbrook and our programs for students, teachers, and citizens for many years.

Jason has been a key part of advancing the Ashbrook mission to help students, teachers,

and citizens understand our mission, understand America's history, and understand our founding

principles.

So we are joined by someone who can really help shed light on a watershed landmark,

monumentally important document in American history and life, the Gettysburg Address.
