Summary

While I was in Poland last week, I had a chance to speak with Game Director, Tomasz Kisilewicz, to discuss the changes that have been made in the past year. My appointment came up pretty early in my play session, but we got to talk about changes in character movement and updates to take the pressure off players so they can explore and interact with the story. Plus, we discuss designing a game like this that crosses the barriers to multiple audiences and get into some juicy details about how much impact players can expect to have on the story. -Bloodworth Learn more about your ad choices. And his, like, running animations different?

0:31.5

Yeah, he did have a backpack, but now there are physics for the backpack, but the locomotion, the whole movement, had big, big improvement.

And even since that build, in the new build, we were also adding some nice little touches because we're doing the motion matching technology for the, for the movement, which is, you know, it can give you very nice realistic results but it's very

1:19.8

with such a small team today.

1:22.3

It's great thing.

1:23.6

That's why we, like, five years ago, moved to Unreal to be able to pull off things like that with smaller teams.

1:30.3

Yeah, so yeah, so yeah, animation and making, getting around the world feel more natural part of it.

1:38.3

Because yeah, because you guys were supposed to launch in the fall, right?

1:43.3
