Liverpool have just wrapped up their football for two weeks now and they'll have to watch on

as the other Premier League teams compete this weekend before heading out on international duty.

Cut this extended breakthrough benefit the Reds?

that we believe could both benefit and hinder the Reds.

Matt, what's your initial thoughts on this period?

Yeah, it's's an interesting time

I think for Liverpool I think there's probably arguments either way I think generally

for the team collectively but individually as well as we're going to go through I

think there's there's maybe some players that you'd think

could possibly have benefited from getting a bit of rhythm and getting into it. I think the fact that

Liverpool had the time off between the two Champions League games undoubtedly benefited them but I think there's

possibly an argument that maybe they could have done with another game just to prove that that wasn't really a

one-off I suppose the the reverse argument is they kind of did that against

Bormuth and then it wasn't particularly great the two or three games after that but

yeah I think there's arguments either way I think there's there's certainly a better

argument for the players that are missing at the moment giving
