But Matt, first things first looking at the game.

I mean, the scoreline suggests it, but it was Liverpool at their very best and

free-flowing yeah free-flowing I think is a good way of putting it I think

Liverpool just looked a lot more fluid and a lot more fluents I think

definitely after the Manchester United game

but probably after the first couple of matches of the season as well in the Fulham and the Palace matches.

You kind of had a few questions really of exactly what Liverpool we're trying to do in terms of their attacking.

I think there was a number of people who made the point that Sala and Diaz looked really

far apart and didn't really connect very well.

There were questions about Roberto Fimino and kind of how the midfield fitted into all of this stuff.

I just think yesterday as much as Bormuth are absolutely atrocious.

They really didn't offer anything at all Anfield. I think what we did see was kind of at least a kind of practice run almost of how Liverpool wants to play. I think we saw Trent in the right positions, I think he looked a little bit nervous and a little bit wary of making a mistake

until he managed to score the goal and from that moment it kind of clicked I think there

was a few players who were like that and you've got to kind of hope really that it clicks for them collectively as well as individually.

I think this has got to be a real turning point for Liverpool.

I mean I looked actually that the last time they had a win kind of like this was that seven now wasn't against Crystal Palace where off the back of that I think they only won one of the next six and that was against Astonville as kids in the FA Cup.
