The January transfer window opens tomorrow, but what will Liverpool do if anything over the next few weeks

and which areas of the pitch do they need to strengthen those are the questions that

have been asked recently not least off the back now of two frustrating draws for Liverpool, but with the transfer window now just hours away from opening,

how likely is it that Liverpool will make a signing, and who might that be?

The obvious place I suppose to start with Sean is at centre back Liverpool of course without

Joelle Matip now already without Virgil Van Dyke and Joe Gomez. Surely that is the most

pressing area of the pitch that Liverpool should be looking at

Absolutely mate. Yeah, I think it's it's the most pressing and perhaps perhaps really the only area of the pitch

But I think I think you're right the chorus of fans is pretty much in

unison really I think everyone would say if Liverpool can go out and get a centre back they need to do that

observers pundits that Liverpool you know often need to go out and do something in the transfer market and I think usually

Clauper Edwards when they are more reserved and they choose not to do something they tend to almost have the laugh

laugh laugh really and be proved right if they're a bit more measured,

they're a bit more cautious and you know if they choose to wait for a top target or wait till the summer.

But in this instance I think this is, it's a no-brainer really. I think

Liverpool do have to go out and get a sense back if they can.
