It was a 25 to nothing walkover by the Patriots.

Phil, first impressions from you,

and then I'll give you mine,

which I'm sure you're dying to happen.

I am dying for those.

My first impression from here in Atlanta is that

this defense could be dangerous. I know it's the Falcons. I know a few weeks ago it was the Jets.

I know last week it was Baker Mayfield, who was a little bit banged up and he didn't have his

running backs with the Browns. But the way this defense is playing, Tom, is impossible to ignore.

They were second in the league in terms of points allowed going into this game.

They pitch a shutout on the back of a bunch of turnovers, a couple turnovers on nouns.

I mean, they dominated every facet of the Falcons offense and they just beat them up.

It wasn't even all that complicated.

No.

It wasn't like they were disguising.

It wasn't like they were, you know, throwing exotic coverages at Matt Ryan.

They stopped the run.

They allowed two and a half yards per carry.

And when Matt Ryan dropped back to pass, there was somebody in his lap.
