As you know, the Scotland Outdoors podcast is built from the live programme we do for BBC Radio Scotland,

which is called Out of Doors. And because we're based in we do for BBC Radio Scotland, which is called

Out of Doors. And because we're based in the north-east of Scotland, and we had a terrible

storm last week, Storm Arwin, there were lots and lots of references to that.

And what a difference from last week? Last week it was still blowing a hulae here with Storm Arwen.

Very, very quiet this morning, although the really distinguishing sounds in the north-east

of Scotland at the moment are twofold.

The sound of geese passing over, there was a lovely flight went across just last night,

very calm, and you could hear the creak of the wings and the pinions and things.

It was lovely.

And chainsaws. There are chainsaws everywhere at the moment because of the amount of trees that are down.
