Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of the LFC Academy show.'m your host most Stewart and I'm joined by our

Academy expert Matt Addison and Matt we've got quite a lot to go through on this show there's

been a lot of happening in the world of the under 18s and the under 23s and there's a lot of big games on the horizon for both teams.

Yeah, it's always an exciting time, isn't it? We've not done one of these shows for a little while for a variety of reasons so plenty to

to catch up on but to be honest lots of the themes are very very similar to what they were before

Oakley Canineer is still banging in the goals which is fantastic and plenty of other

interesting bits to get into as well so it's always good to have a catch up

and good to have you involved as well as our new host of the show?

Well, I'm very pleased to be involved, I must admit, I'm quite getting used to all the names of all these

youngsters, but there's like you say, there's been quite a few who've already been entered into my consciousness and he is definitely one of them and he won't

the last time we hear about him in this show. But we want to start at the other end of the pitch because

there's been some new news of a new coaching

hire into Liverpool that's raised a few eyebrows. World Cup winning goalkeeper, Claudio Taffiriel,

has joined the goalkeeping staff and while initially the connection was made with

Allison because they do work together for the Brazilian national team.

Once asked about it Yogan Clop made mention of the youth team in particular and about the idea of bringing a new philosophy for the way they wanted to do things.

Now, we have a Brazilian young goalkeeper in Marcello Piteiteluga but we have a quite stable of great

young goldkeepers and this idea of a new philosophy a new way of playing is

quite interesting and probably really exciting for all of them, isn't it?

I think it is, yeah.
