It's the decade that gave us friends.

It also gave us right there at the end, right at the tail end.

It gave us The Matrix.

What a crazy decade.

Comics was no slouch in that department either.

Every big event caused a stir of controversy, and we are back at it covering all of them.

We continue our countdown of the nine controversies that

shaped the 90s on an all-new episode of Robeservations.

Hey, everybody, and welcome to another edition of Robeservations.

I am your host, Rob Leifeld. Robeservations is a podcast that discusses

comic books and superheroes in all forms and formats. I should learn to say it that simply and

that concisely, but literally that is what we do here. I have been on a 50 year journey with comic books as a passion,

as a love as a fan, was hired at 18 years old and began my career, which is almost at a

completed 40 year mark, but it is 49 calendar years that I have been working in this business,

but 50 years pulling

these comics off the spinner racks, chasing them in comic book stores, mailing away for them.

The reason I stammered there for a minute, because I can't, it still affects me.
