Summary

0:27.7	On 7am on Tuesday, April 11th, the Horsham Police Department in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania
0:33.2	responded to a call from a worried father.
0:35.8	He had come home that morning to discover the family's Toyota Highlander was nowhere
0:39.9	to be seen, and his wife and son appeared missing and the door to the master bedroom
0:44.7	was locked.
0:45.9	When police arrived, enforced entry to the master bedroom, they made the gruesome discovery
0:50.9	of an 11-year-old boy who was clearly deceased on the bed.
0:55.1	The victim Matthew Whitehead had been strangled.
0:58.3	The district attorney's office said that Matthew had ligature marks on the front and
1:02.2	rear of his neck, as well as swelling of his face and obvious pitechier to his eyes,
1:07.6	all signs of strangulation.
1:09.6	An autopsy report later confirmed that the cause of death was indeed ligature strangulation.
1:15.6	So what happened to determine that police would need to hear from Matthew's mother Ruth
1:20.6	Lorenzo Whitehead, who had been taken into custody in New Jersey that same day.
1:26.0	According to that interview on Monday, April 10th, Matthew had been crying on and off
