In the book of Revelation, Jesus warned the church at Pergamum about the sin of Baileum.

Pastor Greg Laurie points out it's an app warning for today's church.

The sin of Baileum is compromised. He wanted to do something even when God told him not to do it.

And there are people like this today, they say, well, I'm a Christian.

I want to go to heaven, but I kind of want to live like hell.

That's compromised. That is the doctrine of Baileum. Don't live that way.

I just want to live the throne.

But can you hear the holy angel for me?

This is the day.

The day will all have begun.

The book of Revelation contains a series of letters to seven different churches.

It's the Lord's specific message to each of those bodies of believers,

containing both commendation and criticism.

And today on a new beginning, we'll see the Lord would direct those messages to many of today's

believers. It's one of this past year's most requested messages titled,

the seven love letters of Jesus to his church.

And we'll pay close attention to the kind of love he's talking about.
