I'm confused. There's no spring training. There's no football. My golfer sucked this weekend.

So, I mean, it was, it was weird. NASCAR was on. And I sucked this weekend. So, I mean, it was weird.

NASCAR was on and I tweeted this out.

Real life victory laps are better than Twitter victory laps.

But, you know, it's okay.

It's fine.

But you know what?

I'm hoping, hoping that this is the quiet before the storm. So I was going to ask you, it seemed like I've been pretty pessimistic, but it seems like the fact that owners and players are like there's owners flying in, there's planes flying, there's something that I meet every day this week. You and I talked last week of how like the big crush was going to be the first week of March. I think we are right about that. Maybe it should a little bit off on the date. It looks like February 28th is kind of the drop dead date for now to have a full season. I think that can get pushed back to March, you know, third, fourth, if they're making ground. But this week feels like the biggest week yet if we're going to get a full-scale season. On one hand, we do finally have like meeting scheduled all week, right? That's supposed to be

pretty good. On the other hand, the offers haven't been remotely close to each other. And let,

no, the owners haven't moved a bit. I want to make sure that the onus is there. As much as, you know,

I don't want to both sides this. I think that's my point of emphasis, is that this is the owner's lockout.

I read a really good article today by R.J. Anderson on CBS discussing like the nuances of the CBT, that, you know, it's not just that they're not moving on the amounts, the thresholds, but they're also severely taxing it a lot more than the taxes.

The penalties for going over the competitive balance taxes,

they now call the luxury tax, are a lot more punitive.
