Hello, everybody, and welcome to the end of 2022. It's been a wild year. We have done a whole

365 days of morning cup of murder, which has been fun and wild and hard, but amazing. And

yeah, and you guys have been along for the ride, and it's been another amazing year.

So, in honor of that amazing year, I have compiled a bunch of your questions that I will answer right now.

Okay.

So the first one was, where did you get the idea to start a podcast?

So about a year and a half-ish before I started Morning Cup of Murder, I started listening to podcasts, like being a consumer of podcasts.

I don't even remember how I started it.

I know it was right after my son was born.

And I started listening to True Crime Podcasts. And I was kind of doing that in all like my

downtime. And then I was like, I don't see why I can't do this. So a friend and I started our

own podcast. And it was just the two of us. And we were just

chit-chat and then just like that more casual conversational podcast. And we had a falling out

that happened sometimes, not a big deal. And so the podcast came to a end when the friendship

ended. And I really liked doing it. But like, I didn't know how to do it by myself because all the podcasts I was consuming had multiple people. So then I was like, I have to come up with like a way to make it easy for one person. And from that and a lot of brainstorming with and a lot of brainstorming

with my husband through that came morning cup of murder. So yeah. So really I guess the answer is

from other podcasters from listening to true crime podcasts and realizing that I wanted to do

my own but I had to do it a little bit

differently. Okay. What is your favorite wind-down activity? Reading. I rediscussed, like, I used to be a

major, major, major reader when I was a kid to the point where, like, if I got in trouble and, like,

I got punished and, like, I wasn't listening to the punishment that was a kid to the point where like if I got in trouble and like I got punished and like I wasn't

listening to the punishment that was being given to me the like escalation punishment was to not take
