I'm your host, Connor Rogers, joined as always by my co-host, Joe DeMayo. And it is by far the saddest episode of the Mets pod. As the Mets dropped game three in the wild card round of the San Diego Padres.

And what was once an incredible season comes to a bit of a shocking, abrupt end in Queens.

So Joe, I'll waste no time.

I'll bring you in here because this is going to be

a Connor and Joe special today and nothing else. Of course, we will take mailbag questions

at the end of the show because the listeners are a big a part of this show as you and I are.

But we're going to go pretty therapy heavy here, man. I would just like your kind of initial reaction, because we surprisingly have not discussed

this too much as the Mets are bounced early from the postseason.

Sports are pain.

You know, there's the supremely negative fans.

You kind of know where I reside on that spectrum.
