My name is Darrell Grove and I'm joined by a man who's always quick on the draw. His name is Taylor Rockwell. Hello. Hello. For purposes of today's show, I'm going to stretch it out as much as possible to make it an official sort of draw, an official cup competition draw. We're going to have some pre-draw ceremonies, some post-draw ceremonies.'re going to have lots of celebrities stopping about to help with the draw. It's going to be a whole big thing. Who's our main celebrity that we're going to pull in via Zoom to give a little speech before the draw? I got no answer. It's me. It's me, of course. The most famous. I would have gone John Mullaney. Yeah, that would have been ideal.

1:44.8

He was busy. Do five minutes.

1:46.2

He said, there's nothing going on because of quarantine, but I'm still busy and can't make time.

1:51.9

It's just like him.

1:52.9

That's just like him.

1:53.9

So today's show, Taylor, is the long-promised draw for the classic club knockout tournament. We are taking the greatest

2:03.3

club teams of all time. We've chosen 32 of them. We're going to put them all in some sort

2:08.6

of drawing mechanism and we're going to draw them out today to do the round of 32 pairings.

2:14.9

All the technical stuff is happening at your end. I assume John Mullaney was invited to your end, turned it down. How are you doing the draw? Do you have, do you have like ping pong balls? Do you have like a computerized system? What's the setup? I feel like you're asking because you know that I went looking for ping pong balls. I had to run an errand anyway. So while I was out, I looked for ping pong balls, 32 of them, could not find them. I also looked for Easter eggs. Plastic Easter eggs, you get 32 of those, but then I was going to struggle to find a vessel to hold all of them. So what I do have is crumpled up post-it notes in a piece of pepperware. Beautiful. Just like how FIFA does it. Yes, it's the official cup as well.

2:51.0

I'm going to spray paint it gold at the end. It'll be the bowl, the TSS bowl, is what we're going to call it. I'm picturing you in Dick Sporting Good saying, now, can these ping pong balls be warmed to certain temperatures? And when the answer was no, that's when you just defaulted to crumpled up post-it notes. All of that is correct, except it was Lowe's instead of Dixporting goods.

2:49.4

But yes, otherwise otherwise otherwise accurate so um i don't think we need too much preamble right we're sort of ready to just get going oh maybe except to let people know that after we do this draw um which will act as a sort of preview for what we're going to do for the next few weeks on the total soccer show. We will then be taking each game that we've set up and we'll use that game as an excuse to,
