I'm Welcome back, everyone to 1001 Heroes, Legends, Histories, and Mysteries podcast.

This is your host, John Hagadorn.

What a year 2024 was.

We have author interviews to come, stories about unsung women heroes of Valley Forge that I uncovered during a recent trip there,

the little known story of the Justice Bell at Valley Forge,

and stories about the Japanese spies who were active in Honolulu prior to and during World War II,

and the efforts of our intelligence agents to root them out.

I also traveled to Oahu for one week to visit family, pay my respects to the USS, Arizona,

and all who fell as a result of

the surprise Japanese invasion, and to research the story of the intelligence battle which was going on

in Hawaii with its large Japanese population, most of which were proud pro-American Nisai,

but a few of which did cost us a huge piece of our Navy on December 7, 1941.

If we can't learn from history, we are doomed, and I promise to bring you some really powerful,

mostly unknown history that we can all benefit from. Also, a quick mention to the many

Marines and service men and women who have sent their thanks as well as sincere

compliments and in some cases even their financial support to our show here. I still have many

stories to come from the Pacific War including Pelaloo, Saipan, Okinawa, and others. And then there

are stories of legends and unsolved mysteries on my to-do list as well.
