Hello and welcome to the 100th episode of the StoryGrid podcast.

I'm your host Tim Graal. I'm a struggling writer trying to figure out how to tell a story that works.

Joining me shortly, well, Sean's not going to be on this episode.

A while back, I've been trying to figure out what we're going to do for this

hundredth episode, and I kept having all these different ideas. Most of them, elaborate and

unmanageable. And then as we were getting close, I started thinking that I just wanted to hear

from you, the listeners, what you thought of the podcast, what it's meant to you.

And I wanted Sean to hear this as well. Because, you know, every week we get on these calls and

we record them and we put them out. And, you know, sometimes we get feedback. Sometimes it's good.

Sometimes a lot of times it's critiques on Sean's

feedback or my my own stuff. And so I thought it would be fun to just hear from you. So to me,

it was just kind of a whim of like, okay, I'm just going to ask everybody to send in their recordings.

And so I saw them piling up over the last few weeks, just kind of,

you know, showing up. And I was saving them to listen to them all at once. Just, and again, I wasn't

thinking too much about this. I just thought, well, you know, I'll listen to them and they'll probably

be kind of nice and, you know, we'll put them together and that'll be the 100th episode.

You know, fast forward a few minutes

and I'm sitting in my office just crying as I hear your stories of what this podcast has been to you.

Most of you probably know that this began as kind of a selfish journey for me to get Sean's advice without having to pay him

as an editor. And so I, you know, I talked to him into starting this podcast just so I could, you know,

learn from an expert on how to write, not having any idea where this would end up going two years

later. And then to hear from so many of you of how much it's meant to you, just,
