So we're talking about Edmund Emil Kemper, the third.

I first heard about him on the show, Mind Hunter. Do you remember that show?

Yeah, he was the best one on there, very charismatic and funny.

Yeah, he was. He actually helped the FBI learn how to profile serial

killers, which is like where the whole behavioral analyst unit came from in the

FBI.

It really stemmed from him.

So, I don't know, he's pretty crazy.

So I'm just gonna tell you all about him and it's just nuts.

So do they say that because he acted, acts one way that all serial killers act the same way?

They kind of say that he was so open and talking about all the crap that he did and why he

did it like his motivations for the things he did that they've used all this

research and now use it to understand the mind of serial killers.

Because he is so open with explaining like where his mindset was when he did this stuff.

I think it's weird. I mean, you think people do terrible things for different reasons
