And Liverpool beat Galatasaray. And when I say beat, that's putting it quite nicely, actually.

They absolutely destroyed and demolished Galatasaray.

Yesterday, 4-0 in the Champions League to go into the quarterfinals.

We will get on to the quarterfinal details and

everything in a little minute, but first of all, let's just reflect on that incredible Amfield performance.

It's really frustrating when you think about it in the grand scheme of things, because why can't

Liverpool just play like that more often? It had incredible intensity.

It had pressing there. They gave the fans something to really get a hold of and the fans

gone into it. And let me tell you, being inside that stadium, if you were in there, you would

know that Galatasarai just did not want that ball. No

Galatasarai player wanted the ball under any amount of pressure because they knew that the

crowd and Liverpool could sense that they were vulnerable. They could also sense that Liverpool

were just miles better. Like we're just a much better football team when we play at this level of intensity in this way.

And, yeah, they did not want the ball at all.

They were kind of hiding from it.

And Liverpool literally took the Mick with them.

It took us a while to get the first goal.

And, you know, somehow the first half did only finish 1-0,

but we missed some massive chances.
