Summary

Tonight’s guest, Rick Taylor, is a mixed-blood tribal member of the Cherokee Nation, of Oklahoma. Rick and his son are hardcore fishermen and Rick had his first Sasquatch-related experience while he was fishing with his son. You see, he and his son had decided to try their luck, night fishing, at a remote creek that was about 25 miles from downtown Dallas. After having the experience, he had that night, let’s just say, the flood gates opened, regarding Sasquatch experiences Rick’s had.

0:46.4	Having said that, I grew up out on the West Coast, hunting, fishing, camping along the
0:53.8	Sierra Nevada mountains, never saw anything that would make me believe the big guys existed.
1:01.5	I was intrigued when the Patterson Gimlin film came out.
1:05.3	I even remember feeling the hair on the back of my neck standing up, watching that subject

1:12.8	And back then, it looked very real to me.
1:15.0	Of course, it was breaking news then.
1:17.6	I had a little interest in it for a while, but puberty and college and girls and women
1:24.5	in life pretty well forgot it.
1:27.4	After college, I moved to the Houston area.
1:31.8	It was an aerospace major in college, vocational aeronautics.
1:37.9	And I was wanting to get on with one of the aerospace contractors or airline related.
1:43.8	The industry was in the tank at that time, nothing going on.
