This is The Beat with Ari Malbert. And let me tell you where we begin tonight. Trump world absolutely

rattled over what looks like a significant conclusion to this January 6 committee's work. And I'm

going to show you why you'll make up your own mind. The January 6 committee held that unusual weekend

meeting. Now they're prepping what will be one of those public meetings, the hearings that really galvanized so much

action, including a DOJ when they held them throughout the year. This is basically the last one

that we know of, a meeting Monday to release its exhaustive report, to vote on that in criminal

referrals. And a Wednesday, of course, the report comes out, as I've told you.

So here's what we're hearing.

Congressman Raskin now says these coming criminal referrals, which would be voted on Monday,

will also deal with evidence that's relevant to federal prosecutors, including evidence that may be new that has not yet come to light.

Now, let's keep it real. That could sound like any government official or member of Congress

hyping something before it comes out.

And you can always keep a little skepticism about a description of something before you get it.

But here's why this is a little different tonight,

and it may connect with that huge breaking story we were covering over the past couple days. Some of this is already coming

out, and it's damning. The new secret text messages would show the coup plot was coming from

inside the building. And you may say, hey, Ari, I've heard you say that before. Yeah, we've been

reporting on it when the evidence shows it, but this is, I've heard you say that before. Yeah, we've been reporting on it when
