we're talking daily scapegoats. Daily scapegoats. Okay. Who's a daily scapegoat in your

life? Your pets. Think about it. They deal with all of our troubles. They let us come home

from work and project all of our garbage onto them. We leave them alone for hours and hours

at a time when they have literally no concept of time Blair. And they're surrounded by hidden

snacks. Like we give them enrichment games where we put treats inside of a ball. And then

we get home and we're like, you stupid cat. How dare you eat that goldfish in that bowl.

And the cats like, the fuck is wrong with you? That was just enrichment game. You put a snack

inside of a ball. Did you expect me not to eat the snack inside the toy ball? I thought

I went to the next level of the game. And then we yell at them for chewing on the kitchen

table leg when we are the ones who got them the chew toys that's outright brag that they

taste like real wood. Is that not encouraging the shenanigans? What is wrong with this?

Right. There's a lot of contradictions and raising a, raising a dog or cat. We do this

and then we get mad at them for their behavior. And we just, we kind of, we blame them and

we shame them for taking the bait that we give them. And our pets get all of these mixed

messages from us and they're just quietly accepting this treatment without complaints

and without judgments. Unless it's a cat, there's a little bit of judgment there.

Constantly. But I was just thinking our dogs, our animals, our lizards, our goats, all

kinds of pets that you have. I'm like, they deal with so much. And I bet they have so

many complaints to give us. Like why? This is a family member, right? And our family

members should be challenging us and helping us to grow every day. And you don't grow

unless you're a little bit challenged. So like, imagine if the reality check that you
