And we're going to check in on Texas and on attorney general Ken Paxton,

who is also checking in on Texas to determine if indeed the school districts

are following the law in Texas.

Which law?

Well, my friends, the Ten Commandments. That law, are the Ten Commandments being posted?

Are there things happening in Texas public schools that the Attorney General want to be happening?

I guess I should say it this way.

Are there things happening in Texas public schools that are happening according to the law?

Now, yesterday, we talked about this situation in Houston where one mom was removed from a local school board meeting at the Houston ISD because she was reading from a library book.

And they threw her out because, by golly, the material was inappropriate to be to be read during a public forum, during a public meeting.

But as the mom duly noted, it's perfectly fine for the book to be on the library shelf, really, available to minors, but yet adults can't read it in a public form or they will be removed.

So that's happening.

And in the meantime here, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced just a couple days ago last week, Thursday, an investigation into dozens of the state's independent

school districts or ISDs, as it were, to confirm compliance

with two laws concerning religious displays of the Ten Commandments.

Well, it's not really, I guess they're not saying it's a religious display.

It's just a display of the Ten Commandments.

The authors of the bill state that it's a historical display and a legal display,
