Some of you will remember that.

Hopefully not too many of you.

But enough of you will remember that is as then talk show host, Dan Patrick's theme song at KSCV.

Many of you long time talk radio listeners will remember him as the owner of 9.50am KPRC and the man who brought Rush Limbaugh to the Houston airwaves.

Before the nation knew who Rush Limbaugh was, there's a great photo I found online months ago.

I was looking through for Rush photos for something and there was a picture of Rush in Houston at KPRC with Dan Patrick.

Then of course, Clear Channel bought KPRC and he bought another station KSCV where he anchored for years before going to the state senate.

And now the lieutenant governor and this week playing the role of a judge in a trial before the senate.

I wouldn't say unprecedented, but certainly in our lifetime.

And I must say, and I've told you this already, I thought you did a fine job for a guy that had no courtroom experience, you handled that gavel with the plumb.

That's not an easy thing to do.

It is without question the most interesting and challenging thing I've ever done.

And I had a great legal team. I had a great judge. I had a minor in Dallas to work with me.

My son, I had for a criminal court attorney before the US attorney, so he helped me a lot.
