Okay, I always like to start with something interesting.

And let me tell you, I don't know if you've been tracking the news, but there are just a ton of layoffs in the tech world.

So far this year, 2023, we have almost 20,000 tech jobs that have been cut. In 2022, almost 100,000 jobs, 18,000 for Amazon, 11,000

over at Meta, 9,000 people are at Salesforce, Twitter, you know, 3,700 at any given day,

it seemed like. But the reason why I bring this up is not just because you should know what's

going on inside the tech industry, but big news today is about Tim Cook.

The headline is Apple CEO, Tim Cook, voluntarily took a 40% pay cut in 2023.

40% pay cut.

So after he took the 40% pay cut, how much do you think Tim Cook is making per year?

Okay, he is Apple CEO, obviously major league successful company. How much you think he's making

this year? I'll tell you, $49 million in total compensation for the year, $2023. Imagine making $49 million a year. Wow.

You know, it must have been really hard taking over for Steve Jobs, though, as he did.

It reminds me of that old Steve Jobs joke, okay?
