motorcade as he left his campaign head of quarters

in Delaware Sunday night was charged with driving while under the influence.

Authority has announced Monday, James Cooper, 46-year-old from Wilmington, was taken into custody

after his silver sedan smashed into an SUV blocking an intersection.

Wilmington police said Cooper was also charged with inattentive driving in addition to

DUI. Officials say the crash did not appear to be intentional with Cooper likely unaware that it was

Biden's motorcade that he had struck. Cooper has since been released from custody and given a

summons to appear in court at a later date. The state of Tennessee has sued BlackRock,

alleging the world's largest asset manager

breached consumer protection laws by making misleading statements about its environmental,

social, and corporate governance investment strategies.

According to a court filing, the state of Tennessee has alleged BlackRock downplay

the extent to which ESG considerations drive the firm's investment strategies and their effect

on companies' financial performance and outlook. Black Rock said they rejected Tennessee

Attorney General Jonathan Scrimetti's claims, quote, Black Rock fully and accurately discloses

our investment practices and our approach to proxy voting. Earlier this year, Scrimetti

demanded 10 major asset managers provide information

on how they seek to tackle climate change as part of an investigation into potential breaches

of consumer law. Scrimetti and 20 other Republican state attorneys general also wrote to

asset managers in March suggesting they're breaching their fiduciary duties in their handling
