Hi and welcome to the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast. This week's podcast is on is online control, which I think is something we all need a little help with and I see it a lot in people who have just had a couple of casting lessons and they cast pretty well and then they get on the

they get on the stream and around a lake and and everything goes to hell in a

hand basket because they didn't really learn about line control.

They learn how to cast well and they learn how to follow through,

but then they don't know what to do with their hands and their line after the

So tip number one is to clean your line and clean it often.

A line that's clean, we'll shoot through the guides better,

So the best thing to do is to take your fly line and put some little soap and water on a paper towel or an old cloth and run your fly line through the soap and
