Okay, today what we're going to do is something that sometimes gets overlooked by those of us who

would call ourselves Christian case makers or apologists.

A word that I typically don't use when talking about what it is we are called to do by Peter in his letter,

1st Peter in verse 15 of chapter 3.

Peter tells us that all of us are called to be able to make a defense,

to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ. So we're called to be Christian case makers,

a word in the Greek apologia, really meaning to make a defense for or to make a case for,

to give the reason for why you believe, what you believe is true.

So we typically, I don't like to use the word only because if you think about it, it sounds

like we're either being apologetic about something, or that we are being defensive and making

a defense for what it is we believe. I think a more affirmative way of saying this is simply
