Your personal testimony is one of God's most powerful tools of leading other people to

know Christ as their Savior or getting them interested in the things of God. And so what I want to talk about in this message

is your personal testimony and I want you to turn to a very exciting chapter in

the Gospel of John, the ninth chapter of the Gospel of John. There are 41 verses and we're going to just read the 1st 11, but we're going to cover them all.

So in this 9th chapter, beginning in verse 1 speaking of Jesus and as he passed by he saw

man blind from birth and his disciples ask him saying rabbi Rabbi, who sinned? This man or his parents that he should be born

blind? Jesus answered, it was neither that this man sin nor his parents, but it was in order that the works of God might be displayed in him.

We must work the works of Him who sent me as long as it is day. Night is coming when no man can work.

Now look at this next phrase,

while I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

You remember what he said in the Sermon on the Mount? Yea the light of the world. You remember what he said in the sermon on the mount? Ye of the light of the world,

knowing that he was going to ascend to the Father and that Christ in us would make us that

light. That is, at least we would be the lanterns carrying the light.

Verse 6, when he had said this, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle and applied

the clay to his eyes and said to him, go wash in the pool of solom, which is translated sin, and so he went

away and washed and came back seeing.

The neighbors, therefore, and those who previously saw him as a beggar

were saying is this not the one who used to sit and beg? Others were saying
