FT Weekend, I invite FT Weekend magazine editor Matt Vela on and the two of us chat through

your cultural predictions for the following year.

I love this tradition.

Last year, you all predicted that speed dating would make a comeback, which didn't really

happen, that this would be a year of indulgence and opulent cakes, that we would be in a

multiverse of pant leg styles, which I'm pretty sure happened.

And now we're looking into 2024,

and we're doing it all again. So this is what we want to know from you. We want to know

what you think will happen or what you want to happen culturally next year. Will the entire

global economy rest on the every move of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey? Will we care less about

AI?
