Hello, everybody. This is Crying in My Car, a podcast for teachers, and this is not the episode

0:07.5

that you are probably hoping for, and I'm going to do my best to explain why. I am Devin Seabold.

Mike is not with me right now, but Mike will be with me shortly. I just wanted to give you guys a brief

0:20.4

update. So basically, Mike took a little

0:25.0

vacation for about a week to Oklahoma, which is, I think, medically the maximum amount of time

0:33.9

that a person can spend in Oklahoma without committing to some sort of drug addiction.

0:41.1

And so anyways, I have been hard at work here in Florida, not only avoiding COVID, but also

0:49.8

revamping the podcast.

0:51.3

1:19.5

level. And what I mean by that is I've been thinking about it. I've been listening back to the

1:25.2

podcast and I think it's something. I think it's something

1:28.3

very special. I love the feedback that I get from teachers. The teachers that say that it's,

1:33.5

it's stress relief, that it's a mirror image of what they're going through, that it is almost that

1:39.8

that safety net that keeps them from just falling through the cracks and getting so exhausted from

1:45.9

teaching. And I think that's absolutely wonderful. That was my goal when I set out was to kind of give

1:51.3

teachers a real vision of what teaching is like and provide some humor to probably one of the

1:58.0

professions that is in most need of a good laugh.

2:01.6

That said, I think it's definitely time that we kind of take it to the next level.

2:06.6

We are going to have some new intro music.
