the Obama years now does a postgame show for the Washington commanders down in Richmond.

After describing all of his various travels across the world over the last few weeks.

He said, you covered Jake Moody and said that he had a good debut hitting two short field goals and two extra points. But I thought Dan Quinn

and the team spoke volumes about Moody before he ever made his first attempt

by choosing to punt from the Bronco 39-yard line rather than attempt a 56-yard field goal

or even go for a fourth down conversion.

We were down 3-0 at that point, and a field goal would have changed momentum.

Yeah, you know, I did not include that in my post-game because I'm pretty sure that that was an end-of-the-wind

field goal. There was some wind on Sunday night in Landover. It was cold. It was windy. I think

one of the reasons you could get tickets for what I was told, like 25 bucks at midfield on Sunday

afternoon before the kick.

But he did choose to punt at the Denver 39-yard line on 4th and 8.

It was 4th and 8 rather than put Jake Moody out there for what would have been his first

field goal attempt from 56-57 yards out.

I think he did that because it was into the wind.

It was fourth and eight too long, perhaps to go for it.

He felt against that defense.

That was Washington's opening drive of the game.

They had already converted, by the way, a third down on that drive.

It was a 10-play drive.

40 yards, took five minutes and 52 seconds.
