I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike.

And tonight, Lakers have probably their biggest game of the season, Road Game against the New Orleans

Pelicans with whom they have the same record. And we're going to preview that game in the second part of the pod.

But a conversation that we had yesterday has been kind of ringing in my

head since then and I wanted to spend the first part of the pod talking about it and it was

Darius was talking about how when you've got Dennis and Austin and Vanderbilt all these guys who are very aggressive type of players.

Playing a zone is kind of counter to their natural instincts and their ways of playing on the defensive end.

And it got me thinking of kind of this bigger picture idea of what is the team's identity?

And I don't necessarily mean that D in terms of like resilience and these less tangible type of ideas but

really in an on-court type of way this is an I can't think of another season

where a team was still figuring out what they were due to a number of circumstances,

particularly the massive overhaul. Closest thing I can think of is the 2018 Cabs, I believe was the team where they traded a bunch of guys at the deadline.
