So, arguably the best player on the team, legitimately one of the true leaders on the team. That was John Allen responding to a question about chase young, specifically the expectations for chase young who missed a second straight OTA day here in this session, this week's session of OTA days.

Yeah, the Celtics last night were in deep trouble. They were down nine early in the third quarter and Jason Tatum went off. He hit two threes, had a steal, had a block shot, had a few more buckets during an 18 to zero run that turned a 61 to 52 deficit into a 70 to 61 lead.

And then when it got tight in the fourth quarter down to 88 83 they were in a five point game with the heat. Tatum took the game over again knocked down a huge three and that sparked a 12 o' run and they never looked back. I was surprised quite honestly that Boston in the first half they were down six in the third quarter down nine.

I think Miami thought maybe they were packing it in. I thought they were packing it in. They didn't so give them some credit. They've been a disappointing team in this postseason. They are a more talented team than the Miami heat are. I still think Miami wins this series, but I'll tell you what, there will be a hell of a lot of pressure on the heat on Saturday night in game six if they lose tomorrow night in Boston to watch that series lead at three love with a nine.

Point lead in game four in the second half to three games to two. It's good for the NBA right now. Not to have to go dark for the next nine days, which is what they were looking at had the heat closed out Boston last night that would not have been good for the league. Now they get a game five tomorrow night and you know if my bookies right and Miami loses this game tomorrow night.

You'll get a game six on Saturday night with Denver waiting in the wings for the NBA finals, which start next Thursday night. By the way, the nuggets will be a sizable favorite over the heat in the NBA finals. And I think there'll be a slight favorite over Boston, although I think they win over either one of those two teams.

I would like to see the heat in the final. You get two really good teams, well coach teams. But if it is Boston, there's more talent there, but I would still pick Denver to win the NBA championship much more on all of that coming up with Tim Legler in the next segment.

So let me just kind of repeat my position on chase young who missed his second OTA day. For me, it is a big deal. You know, simply put, I believe that this is important to those that he works for and those that he works with.

And to me, committing to a few OTA days isn't a big ask. It's really not. You know, it would be one thing. If you were coming off back to back, you know, all pros seasons, 15 plus sacks a year.

If the team were more accomplished in their record and getting to the playoffs and winning some games, no one would really be talking about this.

Now, I think accomplished people will tell you the more success you have, the harder you work to make sure that you don't give it back. But in his specific situation where his career is kind of hanging, not by a thread, but by a limb or two, he's going to get more opportunities if he doesn't really ball out next year because he has this incredible talent.

And gift and everybody will think we can get the best out of this guy. That organization, that coaching staff, bunch of buffoons, they didn't know how to handle him. He'll get other opportunities.

But he's not going to get a lot more and he's not going to get a shitload of guaranteed money without an unbelievable season coming up. Look, that's what matters more than anything.
