So let's get set for this Big 12 championship game on Saturday and first say this. This is an enormously

fantastic matchup for this league. This is not a knock on OU and Texas fans. Some of you

are going to take it that way, but you've got to understand.

This is a Big 12 show.

This show is about what is in the best interest of the Big 12 conference.

And it is in the best interest of the Big 12 conference to not have Oklahoma or Texas in the championship game to prove that this league does not

become a group of five league when OU and Texas leave.

Now, many of us know that, but a lot of dumb talking head folks don't know that.

A lot of flyby college football fans don't get that.

Oh, OU and Texas are gone.

This might as well be the AAC.

Well, I don't know, two straight years since OU and Texas announced they're leaving the Big 12.

And last year we got Oklahoma State Baylor and this year we got TCUK State.

You tell me, what does that say about OU in Texas?

They can't win the Big 12 on their way out the door, at least not yet.

Maybe next year is different.

Maybe 2024 is different.

But for now, they haven't done it.

They haven't even been in the game.
