This week began with a new term for the United States Supreme Court. Campaign fundraising totals are still filtering in and House Democrats continuing

their impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Fox News correspondent Ellison Barber has been

following the candidates on the campaign trail and gives us an update.

Terry Marciano is one of nearly 50,000 auto workers on strike.

On the surface, it's a fight between union workers and General Motors, largely related to workers' wages, health care costs, and idled plants.

In reality, it's bigger than that.

And for presidential hopefuls, this is a battleground.

Senators Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders visited Detroit picket lines.

Former Vice President Joe Biden showed his support for workers at a

plant in Kansas, condemning GM and wearing a red union t-shirt. President Trump praised auto workers

but remained neutral, only saying he hopes for a quick resolution. According to a Fox News,

2016 exit poll, 18% of voters came from a union household. 42% of them voted for Donald Trump.

You won't lose one plan. I promise you. GM indefinitely idled an assembly plant in Warren, Michigan

this summer. Detroit Hamtramick is supposed to be next. I believe Trump took a little bit of a downfall

from the union.
