And we make a few pretty harsh stances, I would say, huh, Austin?

I'm not going to lie.

Like, there's some things I said where I was like,

is that going to be taken the way I hope it does?

We're going to put a disclaimer at the top of this episode, which is what we're doing right now.

I just want to say, again, consistently throughout this episode, we make references to the fact that

James Charles is a predator, but what has happened in the wake of this story and why we decided

that this was an important story to tell is a person with a ton of followers and fame and money used homophobic language to sell you a product,

and I don't think that a lot of people realize that.

This is a story about two clout chasers interested in money acquisition and the general

business of capitalism going head to head. And a homophobic story was told to you so another

person could sell hair vitamins. Now, do we think that James Charles is an ugly, disgusting predator?

Absolutely.

But do we also think that the language employed by Tati has opened up a doorway for the conservative media to paint all gay men as evil predators lurking in the mentions of straight men everywhere?

Absolutely.

And I think that it has been framed like that to sell products.

So we're going to get into that.
