I'm going to introduce you really quick.

Dr. Anne-Marie Hain has been a board-certified general pediatrician since 1999 and has been

working exclusively in developmental behavioral

pediatrics since 2012. Dr. Hayne developed a new business model, behavioral pediatrics at home,

using house call visits. Dr. Hayne provides thoughtful, individualized evaluations and medical

management for children with concerns who are autistic and have ADHD.

Dr. Hayne works in the Raleigh area in North Carolina.

Yeah, I'm so excited that you're here because we are going to talk about how to talk to

children about medications and we'll probably specifically look at stimulants today.

And medication decisions are hard, right?

It's already hard for a parent to consider medication.

So once we consider medication, what I've often found is, you know, doctors are very busy

and sometimes they don't really tell the child why they're taking it or they may not give

information about how their body works and why they're taking it, or they may not give information about how their body works
