Summary

Today on Millennial Money we're doing a podcast swap with one of my favorite podcasters, Farnoosh Torabi. You may know her from her podcast, So Money where she shares stories of personal finance, entrepreneurship, financial success and money strategy. She's got everyone from celebrities to everyday people on her show and each episode packs a serious punch of inspiration and education. On This Podcast Episode: Farnoosh is dishing some of her own stories of financial success and struggle as she's made her way from journalist to acclaimed author to podcast host...and so much more. This was a super fun episode as I got to go behind the scenes with Farnoosh as she talked about her career journey, managing money in a relationship (this isn't easy for anyone) and what keeps her inspired and focused on always creating great content on So Money. Today, we're doing a podcast swap too. You can check out my interview with Farnoosh on So Money after you've listened to this episode. Ask Shannah- This question is from Joe and it's all about the steps you should take after you've got your money spread out - retirement, college fund, credit cards and more. While there's never one answer to that question, it always comes back to your goals and the life you want to live. Matching your money as best you can to those goals will ensure you're headed in the right direction. So sadly, we find ourselves at a time where the Olympics now have come and gone. I don't know if you're an Olympics person or not. I feel like every year I think, you know what, I'm not going to really watch the Olympics. I don't know if I really care about what's going on with the Olympics. And then I get totally sucked into the Olympics. It is crazy. And all the stories and I find myself watching the

1:35.8

men's curling match. Like, what in the world is that? I don't even know, is it a sport? Is it not a

1:42.8

sport? I don't know. But it's so crazy to me how,

1:47.1

you know, the Olympics have this sort of, I don't know, it puts you in this trance, if you

1:53.1

will. And then when they're over, it's like, wait a minute, now there's nothing on TV for me to

1:57.6

watch yet again. You know, I have a hundred some odd stations on my direct TV, but there's

2:04.0

never anything to watch. It really is quite the dilemma, but I digress and I know we're going to

2:10.5

make it. I'm going to survive another four years, or it's really only two years until we get to the

2:14.6

summer Olympics, but I'm going to survive, right? I'm going to make it.

2:18.2

We're all going to make it. All right. So today's Ask Shauna question is such a great question.
